one sick momma

well, yesterday morning i started off feeling dizzy, then nauseas and about 2:00pm things hit rock bottom. My hubby took me to the doctor and they sent me straight to the hospital. i wasn't in labor, so they were worried why i was in pain and having the problems i was having. it was a little scary and my poor kids were scared and worried about me, but in the end, everything was fine. the baby was fine the whole time. they put me on an IV for fluids and had to give me anti-nausea medicine 3 different times until my body finally settled down. it was a lonely night in the hospital with my husband taking charge and being home with the kids, but it just makes you realize how quickly things can change, health and otherwise, and how important it is to have a strong relationship with your spouse, especially when there is absolutely no other family around to turn to. sometimes it's sad not having family around, but at the same time, it really tests a relationship. because all you have is each other. you really find out if you can depend on one another for support, love, friendship and everything else that comes with a marriage. i've known that i have that with my husband, and last night he just proved it to me again. i know no relationship is perfect, but if you can find that one person willing to ride the completely unpredictable roller coaster of marriage with you, it's beyond worth everything that comes with it.

  1. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Being pregnant and feeling that way is the worst. Have a great time at Disney today. You will love it. Hopefully you don't passout while there.
