Yesterday was my birthday! May Day! Which is what i'm sure my brothers said when they found out their new sibling was a girl! ha ha! :o) I know, i know, "what?? only 25?? your just a baby!" And you know what, i am, but i'm enjoying every minute of it because i know i won't be young forever! he he! :o) Anywho, it was supposed to be a relaxing, lazy day, but it turned out to be the exact opposite. I was running non-stop from 7:30am until 9:30 at night. Some was good, some was exhausting, but the night ended great! My hubby got me a spring colored bouquet of roses and later gave me a romantic singing card! (he hates the cards that sing. which made it even more special that he would buy me one!)

That evening, I dropped C off at a friend's house for a sleepover for his friend's birthday. (C's first night away from home! he did better than me!) Then K went to a friend of mine's house to play with her daughter and the hubby and i went out to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Puerta Vallarta! It was DELICIOUS and the service was awesome! (as usual) Then, i had wanted to go bowling, but forgot socks since i was wearing flip flops and then decided not to go bowling because for whatever reason, Downtown was PACKED! More than usual. So, i said "what did we do together before we had kids" the answer was, go bowling and play card games. (we were broke when we got married) So, we came home and played rummy together. It was relaxing and exactly what i wanted! No TV, no Xbox, no kids, no noise or distractions. (except the cat attacking our legs and arms every now and then while we played cards) ha ha! i'm sure he was bored without the kids around, so i can't blame him!

Its weird how our wants change on our birthdays. Well glad you had a good one. C slept at a friends house? How crazy.
