About a week and half ago the kids and i went with one of our mom's clubs on a fire house tour. C LOVED it! K, not so much. K kept saying she didn't want to go to jail. (in the fire truck) he he. i have no idea where she got that!
Last Thursday the kids and i went with some friends to a local little lake. (it's more like a really large pond) There were hundreds of a little tadpoles swimming around, but the kids didn't mind one bit! not even my little girly girl who HATES bugs and getting messy! We were there for almost 4 hours. the kids had a blast! i got burnt to a crisp, but for the most part it's turned into a tan. my shins are just NOW healing though. yikes! (there are no pics of me though because i was not wearing one single drop of makeup...scary!)
After preschool on Friday, the kids and i were invited over to one of C's friend's houses to play with water balloons, sparklers and more. K was shy at first, but C, as usual, had a blast! They both LOVED the water balloons! C also got to drive a power wheels quad. let's just say after that, he's not getting his license until he's 25! he he. He would look where he wanted to go, but not steer. he ran over the sprinkler a fews times. almost drove down into a little stream, almost ran over K and his friend on seperate occasions. He did manage to drive right into a huge patch of bushes and get stuck. He also couldn't figure out how to keep his foot steady on the gas so it was a rough ride! stop go, stop go, stop go! he even kocked his friend off the back at one point because he started so fast! it was so funny to watch! one of the pictures is C getting ready to run over the sprinkler. ha ha! that's my boy!
One last thing. K's hair is finally long enough to put into a pony tail! (even after a haircut!) so lately she's been asking for ponytails. which is a miracle because she hates even having her hair brushed! We weren't doing anything special in this pic, just getting ready to pick C up from preschool. But i love this pic of K! So, i had to add it. :o)
Man, you have so much fun. I've gots to get me some more friends. Their yard looks way cool. That is so funny that C couldn't keep control of the car. And I love K's picture with her hair in a pony.
